Service Description

he American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course combines online instruction with an in-person skills session to provide flexible, comprehensive training. Participants first complete the American Red Cross online learning portion at their own pace. The interactive coursework covers recognition and response to cardiac arrest, high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, choking relief, and common first aid emergencies such as bleeding, burns, shock, allergic reactions, and sudden illness. After completing the online portion, students attend a scheduled in-person skills session with Vital Institute. During this session, participants demonstrate hands-on competency in CPR, AED use, and first aid skills under instructor guidance. This format is ideal for busy professionals, workplace teams, teachers, childcare providers, coaches, and community members who need certification with greater scheduling flexibility. Upon successful completion of both the online course and in-person skills evaluation, participants receive a 2-year American Red Cross digital certification.
